Pioneers And Tigers Combine For Great Showing At Sectionals

Just as they did all season, the Warren County Pioneer track team showed up and showed out.

Co-Oped with Dekalb County, the section two championships were just about a week ago and they were exactly what coach Jeremy Wilhelm expected.

Many athletes ran, threw, or jumped personal bests. Two qualified for state.

Ella Vanvranken and Ally Beneke finished first in the 800 meters and high jump respectively.

Coach Wilhelm though was most proud of this teams grit, determination, and growth. Their senior leadership building a foundation that while this year is not quite over, bodes well for next year already.
