Another Young Team On The Softball Diamond

We have been discussing recently the youth across softball in the UC this year.

Warren County is no exception.

Another young team, with talent, that could be good or even great this year, but projects to be top tier in the next few seasons beyond this one.

Not unlike several other coaches from across the region, head coach Jerry “Gooby” Martin was quick to say they want to win. This year is not a wash just because they understand they could be incredible next year or the following.

The pioneerettes are here to compete, because why not now, why not them.

Coach Martin discussed that attitude and how they make this year their year instead of waiting for the experience, the development, their turn.
