Cookeville Lacrosse Finishes With Mixed Bag

Lacrosse continues to grow across the state, the mid-state, and the UC.

Cookeville’s boys once again brought home a region championship, but fell short in round one of the playoffs to a tough Franklin team.

The girls however made there way to unprecedented territory; the state title game.

They came up just short against Ravenwood, but still made quite the statement getting there.

As the seasons have come to a close, and there is a long road ahead to TSSAA sanctioning, we asked coach Woods about it all. Including where he would want the state title game played when it becomes an official sport. Spoiler, he was biased and stayed home.
