Jack Oakley Signs With Young Harris Mountain Lions

As I have stated previously, there is in my mind, no better day in a high school athletes career, save maybe winning a title, than when they get the opportunity to sign on to continue their athletic career at the next level.

Jack Oakley, of the Cookeville Cavaliers was given that chance.

Oakley signed to play with the Young Harris Mountain Lions in Georgia this past Friday.

After he put pen to paper, members of the media, including myself, had the chance to ask all the questions everyone wonders; why Young Harris? What do coach Heard and Cookeville mean to him? How does he plan to adjust to the jump in competition level? Among so many others.
