A Full Season For The First Time

Imagine seeing your freshman year stripped from you by something out of your control.

Covid did that to Brooklyn Holt. Still three years to go though.

Sophomore year is the year where you grow the most, so maybe she would be a little behind, but still the talent was there.

Just several games in though a catastrophic leg injury would sideline her for the rest of the year. I use the word catastrophic because normally you would only miss a year, but after trying to play only a couple games her junior year, Holt required more surgery.

So after not even playing what amounts to half a season her first three years of high school, Holt has finally played a full year.

Now, she has not only played a full season, but committed to play at the next level.

What a senior moment.
