Pioneers Spring Athletics Shut Down After Wednesday

Per Warren County head baseball coach, Phillip King, the Warren County Board of Education has suspended play until further notice.

Director of Schools Bobby Cox said, “in examining all information provided to date we feel that a suspension of athletics and all extracurricular is the prudent thing to do at this present time.”

Pioneers baseball will play a double header against DeKalb County on Monday. The first game will start at 4:00 P.M.

Warren County will play another double header against Grundy County on Tuesday, with the start time again at 4:00 P.M.
