Bulldogs Dominate Sale Creek In First Round

Clay County scored two offensive and defensive touchdowns in their 28-2 victory over Sale Creek.

Senior quarterback Jake Ashlock completed 11 of 21 passes for 78 yards and one touchdown and one interception. Ashlock carried the ball three time for seven yards.

Carson Sharp led the way on the ground for the Bulldogs with eight carries for 83 yards. Will Ogletree rushed nine times for 27 yards.

Alec Kerr ran the ball four times for 18 yards. Offensive and defensive lineman Dalton Goad rushed one time for one yard and a touchdown.

Kerr returned an interception for a touchdown and Keaton Arms returned a fumble to the house for a touchdown.

Clay County travels to South Pittsburg next Friday night for their second round match up.
