Clay County Parker Smith Signs With Maryville To Play On Saturdays

It is always a special moment and day when a young athlete gets to the opportunity to play at the next level.

This past Friday that honor was given to Parker Smith of Clay County who signed on to go play at Maryville College outside Knoxville.

Smith was not a four year bulldog, but head coach Bruce Lamb was excited to add Smith and pointed out what he brought to this team and ended up taking them all the way to the state runner-up as a junior alongside other talented young men that coach Lamb also mentioned we may be seeing sign on themselves to play on Saturdays.
