Clay County Softball An Up And Down Year So Far

Many softball teams across the UC are in young, developmental years. That is not to say they cannot have great years, win postseason games, and go to state to compete for titles.

However, what it does mean, is especially over the first month or month and a half of the season, we have seen inconsistency across the diamond for those teams.

Clay County is one of them.

The Lady Bulldogs have the talent to be great, and according to coach Homer Dailey they also have the desire to be.

How though? Where do they need to get better, how and where do they build consistency, and how has playing no single A teams out of district made them better but also affected their record and resume on paper?

We discussed all that with coach Dailey, as well as managing the personalities that litter this team!
