Amonett’s Free Throws Lift Bobcats Over Red Boiling Springs

Will Amonett scored only four points in Pickett County’s 60 to 58 win over Red Boiling Springs, Friday night. No two points on the night were bigger than the two free throws Amonett hit with under a one second to play in regulation.

As a team the Bobcats hit 27 of their 29 free throw attempts and they hit four shots from beyond the arch.

Zach Amonett led all scorers with 34 points and John Parker Regan added nine points of his own.

Pickett County will travel to Celina on Tuesday night to take on Clay County. The win improves the Bobcats record to 15-8, 7-5 on the season.
