30 Point Second Quarter Drives Cavs Over DeKalb Co

The Cookeville Cavaliers boys basketball team used a 30 point second quarter to fend of the DeKalb County Tigers 77 to 65 Saturday night in Cookeville.

Cookeville’s Bailey Gillam scored a game high 26 points. Cookeville’s Stockton Owen added 16 points and teammate Zach Hall scored 14. Braiden Brown added 11 points all of which came in the second quarter.

DeKalb County’s Lucas Hale scored a team high 19 points. Dallas Cook also score 18 points for the Tigers.

DeKalb County hits the road agains Tuesday night against Watertown at 6 P.M.

The Cookeville Cavaliers will play Station Camp Monday night in Gallatin. This game is a rescheduled game from last Tuesday night’s snow cancelation.
