Second Quarter Pushes Lady Bobcats Past Warren Co

The Pickett County girls basketball team won rebounded after their first loss of the season Friday night against Clarkrange, with a 69 to 54 victory over Warren County Saturday night in Byrdstown.

The Lady Pioneers jumped put to a 21 to 18 first quarter lead. Pickett County outscored Warren County by 13 in the second quarter to take control of the game.

Pickett County’s Kyndal Ludick led all scorers with 26 points. Ludick had a big night from the free throw line as she knocked down 12 of her 13 attempts.

Elly Smith and Abbi Bilbrey each scored 10 point for the Lady Bobcats.

Kam Nowlin and and beth Vaughn each dropped 16 for the Lady Pioneers.

Warren County plays this Monday night against Cannon County.

The Lady Bobcats do not play until Tuesday night against Trousdale County on the road.

Both girls tip times are at 6 P.M.
