York Defeats The Lady Jets Behind Solid Defense, Strong Third Quarter
The York Institute Dragonettes defeated the Cumberland County Lady Jets by a final score of 58-47.
After trailing 21-17 at half, York exploded for 26 points in the third quarter to take a 43-37 lead into the final frame.
The Dragonettes then out-scored Cumberland County 15-10 in the fourth quarter to take home a 58-47 win.
Haylee Johnson led all scorers with 21 points, while Mikaela Reagan added 12. Gabby Beaty scored 10 points in the win as well.
York’s next game will be on Dec. 20 when they begin play in the Stone Memorial Classic.
