4th Quarter Comeback Falls Short For Panthers

Stone Memorial’s boys basketball team dropped a close game on Tuesday night to Franklin County 55 to 54 on the road.

The Panthers outscored Franklin County by six in the finals quarter but it was not enough.

Jack Eldridge scored a game high 19 points. Eldridge made 11 of his 13 free throw attempts.

Kaleb McCoy was the only other Panther in double digits with 11 points.

The loss brings Stone Memorial’s record to 4-5 on the season.

Stone Memorial will play again this Friday night against Elizabethton, at 7:30 P.M. as a part of the Stone Memorial Christmas Classic.
