White County Edges Out Pioneers In Sparta

The White County Warriors defeated the Warren County Pioneers by a final score of 69-63 on Tuesday.

After the game was tied heading into the final frame, White County used a 20-14 scoring advantage in the fourth to win the game.

Grant Slatten led all scorers with 34 points, while Kegan Dodson added 17 points of his own.

Aiden Cummings scored 24 points for Warren County and CJ Taylor added 17 points of his own. The Pioneers were able to hit nine of 12 free throw attempts but only hit one shot from behind the arch.

White County’s next game will be on Friday against Cookeville, while Warren County will take on Stone Memorial.
