Van Buren County Softball Attempts to Reset After Several Set Backs

The Van Buren County High Lady Eagles could not be struggling through worse off the field right now.

An assistant coach who needed surgery, not to mention four strong contributors, two seniors, who are more than likely lost for the year.

That has not deterred their spirit however. In fact, Head Coach Leshauna Woolard is quite pleased with her teams performance in their opener.

They defeated Cumberland County by better than ten runs, despite only having three practices under their belt.

Now they turn their attention to trying to maintain the momentum, and find out what they look like without those four pieces.

Coach Woolard seems confident this team can make a mark this season.
