Tuesday Night Girls Hoops Recap: Miller’s Monster Night Leads Stone Over Oak Ridge

Stone Memorial 82, Oak Ridge 67

Tessa Miller scored 36 points to lead the Lady Panthers to a win over Oak Ridge on Tuesday.

Annah Goss added a 21-point outing to assist Miller, while Katie Adkisson scored 15 points.

The next game on Stone Memorial’s schedule will feature an appearance at the Sonic Shootout in Sparta.

Upperman 75, DeKalb County 40

The Lady Bees took a 16-point lead into halftime and continued to add on in the second half of a 75-40 win over DeKalb County on Tuesday.

Brooklyn Crouch led all scorers with 19 points, while Reagan Hurst added 16 points. Torie Brooks scored 13 points of her own.

Ella Van Vranken and Kadee Ferrell each scored 11 points for the Lady Tigers.

DeKalb County will take part in the Sonic Shootout next.

Clay County 66, Monterey 20

The Lady Bulldogs jumped out to a 34-0 lead after one quarter and that was as close as the game would be, as Clay County defeated Monterey 66-20 on Tuesday.

Briley Burchett led Clay County with 13 points and Rachel Copass scored 12. Halle Buford added 11 points and Isabella Hale scored 10 points.

The Lady Bulldogs will be back in action on Friday when they host Gordonsville, while Monterey will be at Jackson County.

Cookeville 38, Lebanon 35

The Cookeville Lady Cavs picked up a win in a gritty defensive effort at Lebanon on Tuesday by a final score of 38-35.

KK Graves led Cookeville with 13 points, and Cassie Gallagher added seven points in the win.

The Lady Cavs will host Knox Webb on Thursday.
