Tuesday Night Boys Hoops Recap: Pickett Co Downs Monterey

Pickett County 67, Monterey 50

Zach Amonett continued his torrid scoring pace, as he led the Pickett County Bobcats to a 67-50 win over Monterey with 26 points.

Will Amonett added 15 points of his own, while Hunter Wattenbarger scored 11 points.

The Bobcats will be back in action on Friday, when they take on Clarkrange.

Station Camp 59, Cookeville 49

A second-quarter scoring drought led the Cavaliers to defeat on Tuesday, as they fell to Station Camp by a final score of 59-49.

Lucas Reeves led the Cavaliers with 14 points, while freshman Colin Ayers continued his strong freshman season with 12 points.

Cookeville is set to take on Christian Academy of Knoxville on Friday.

Stone Memorial 102, Cumberland County 73

The Panthers put together one of their best offensive performances of the season on Tuesday in their 102-73 win over Cumberland County.

Will Hecker led all scorers with 23 points, while Jack Eldridge followed right behind him with 22 points. Chris Coudriet added 14 points and Zach Boyd scored 11 points.

Jackson Inman led Cumberland County and all scorers with 29 points.

The Panthers will hit the court again on Dec. 15 to take on York Institute, while Cumberland will face Sequatchie County on Friday.
