Mr. Basketball Spotlight: White County’s Grant Slatten

With the regular season for boys and girls basketball hitting the home stretch, we will be spotlighting different Mr. and Miss Basketball candidates around the Upper Cumberland.

Today, we take a look at White County Senior Grant Slatten.

For the season, Slatten is averaging a robust 36.7 points per game, and his biggest accomplishment this season was taking over the school’s all-time record for career points. He’s a two-time district player of the year, and has scored over 2,400 points in his career.

Slatten also signed before the season to continue his career at the University of Mississippi.
