In a balanced scoring effort, Will Wrisner led Van Buren with 12 points, while Ryan Wheeler added 10 points. Clay Cox, Jason Stevens and Adam Simmons all scored eight points.

This moves the Eagles’ record to 4-1.

McMinn County 55, White County 54

The Warriors saw their five-game winning streak come to an end on Monday, as they fell to McMinn County by a final score of 55-54.

White County trailed by 11 points in the fourth and fought their way back into the game, but couldn’t complete the comeback.

Their record now sits at 7-2.
