One of the great things about talking to high school coaches, is when you unlock and begin to hear their passion for the kids.

When for just a few minutes in an interview, it becomes less about X’s and O’s and more about the “jimmy’s and joe’s”, or in this case I suppose janes and jackies.

Mixon Moore is both the tennis coach and the girls soccer coach at White County High.

His passion first came to light during tennis season, but as we enter summer workouts and head for the dead period, it is full steam ahead for girls soccer.

He talked a little strategy, but a whole lot more kids and program.
