Lady Cavs Notch First Win Of The Season Against Lebanon

Cookeville’s KK Groves led the Lady Cavaliers in scoring, with 12 points, on their way to a 43 to 41 victory against Lebanon on Tuesday.

Emma Webb and Katie Dunaway both scored nine points. Liv Shipman added five points. Bailey and Jordan Gillies each scored three points.

Chloe Maynord scored two points for the Lady Cavaliers.

Cookeville finished 10 of 14 from the free throw line and they connected on three three’s against the Lebanon defense.

The Lady Cavaliers will be back in action this Saturday in a Hall of Fame Play Day game against Riverdale at 3 P.M.
