Lady Bees Basketball Takes Down Menendez

The Upperman Lady Bees defeated Menendez High School on Friday in Florida by a final score of 74-19.

Torie Brooks put together one of her best games of the season, as she made seven three-pointers and scored a game-high 24 points for Upperman.

Reagan Hurst also continued her great play of late, as she put up 21 points, eight rebounds, three steals and three assists.

Jayla Cobb stole the show on defense, quite literally, as she recorded 11 steals to help lead the Lady Bees’ charge on defense. Cobb was solid on offense as well, as she put together a double-double with 15 points to go with her steals. Brooklyn Crouch added eight points and a game-high eight assists.

The Lady Bees will continue play in the Palm Coast Kiwanis Shootout on Saturday.
