Meiah Moss Starts The Repeat Campaign

Winning the big one is one of the hardest things an athlete/team can do at any level. One of the only things that is said to be harder, is doing again.

Meiah Moss will try to do just that this season in track and field.

Last year she became the first state champion in track and field, in the history of Upperman high school, who has had some high caliber athletes as we well know.

Now she attempts to get better, as she goes from being the hunter, to the hunted, so to speak.

One thing you already notice for her and the program this year, is the amount of bigger and more highly competitive meets she/they will attend. For instance, with several college coaches and scouts in attendance, she and her Upperman teammates will go compete at UTK against some of the most premier talent from across East and Middle TN, at facilities that are considered some of the best in the country behind the likes of only Oregon, USC, and Texas A&M.

Moss admitted she is looking forward to the challenge, but understands what she has to do to repeat.
