Cumberland Co. Falls To Rockwood

The Cumberland County Jets (0-7) got off to a good start in the first quarter, but couldn’t maintain it in a 37-14 loss to Rockwood.

After falling behind 12-0, the Jets cut the lead down to 12-8 after a four-yard run by Quarterback Trevor Parsons.

Rockwood took over at this point however, and took a 34-8 lead in the fourth quarter.

Braden Tollett completed a pass to Treven McGhee for the last touchdown of the game, leaving the showdown at its final score of 37-14.

On the game, Parsons ran the ball 10 times for 48 yards and a touchdown, and completed 5-13 passes for 35 yards.

Tollett completed his only pass for 18 yards and a touchdown.

Cumberland Co. will take on Stone Memorial on the road next week.
