Cavaliers Win Second Game Of Tournament Against DeKalb Co

The Cookeville Cavaliers boys basketball team beat DeKalb County 67 to 46 Friday night in their second game of the Aflac Christmas Tournament in Watertown.

Cookeville’s Bailey Gillam led all scorers with 25 points. Gillam hit two of three free throws and he hit three shots from downtown. Gilliam scored at least five points in all four quarters.

Zach Hall and Colin Gillam each scored eight points for Cookeville. Hall hit two, three’s and both of his free throw attempts.

Dallas Cook scored 15 points for DeKalb County. Elijah Ramos scored nine for the Tigers and Evan Jones and Jordan Young each scored seven points.

Both teams will play Saturday throughout the day based upon seeding of the pool play.
