Cavaliers Fall In Region Quarterfinals To Cleveland

The Cookeville boys basketball season ended Saturday night with a, 94 to 50 loss to Cleveland, on the road.

The Cavaliers had trouble with Cleveland’s Jacobi Wood as he dropped in 11 made three’s on his was to a game high 42 points.

Kosta Bikakis led Cookeville in points with 15. Bailey Gilliam finished his season with nine points and Lucas Reeves and Collin Gilliam each added in seven points each.

Cleveland advances to take on Warren County, Tuesday night in Sparta, at 7:45 P.M.

Cookeville ends the season with a record of 16-15 and 4-4 in District Six, Triple A play, under first year head coach Josh Heard.
