Buffaloes Rely On Big Fourth Quarter To Ground Jets
The Clarkrange boys basketball team used a 24-point fourth quarter to pull away from the Cumberland County Jets. Clarkrange beat Cumberland County 60-42 Tuesday night in Fentress County.
Nate Hall led the Clarkrange with 18 points while teammate Keith Whited score 17. Conor LaRue cracked double digits with 10 points.
Gatlyn LaRue added seven points and Case Cordell scored six. Anthony Cottle rounded out the scoring with two points from the free throw line.
Clarkrange knocked down five shots from beyond the arch and were 23 of 41 from the charity stripe.
For the Jets Braydee Brooks led all scorers with 20 points. Dawson Shrum added seven for the Jets.Nash Hale and Lake Reid each scored six points. Cumberland County’s Isaac Meador knocked down a three in the first quarter for his only bucket.
Clarkrange will play again thei Saturday in aHall of Fame Play Day in Fentress County.
