BREAKING: Warren Co’s Taylor Named 6A Mr. Football Winner

Warren County senior C.J. Taylor completed his magical 2020 season on Tuesday, as he was named the Class 6A Tennessee Titans Mr. Football Award winner.

Taylor led the Pioneers to an 8-2 regular season record, that included an eight-game winning streak. For the season, Taylor put up 2,388 yards of total offense and 27 touchdowns.

On Saturday, he was named the Region 3-6A MVP among 10 other Pioneers who were honored.

Taylor also took the next step on his football journey on Nov. 23, where he announced his commitment to Vanderbilt to continue his playing and academic career.

The senior Quarterback/Defensive Back was named the winner over Ravenwood’s Jake Briningstool and McMinn County’s Jalen Hunt.
