UCSN Featured: Cookeville Girls’ Basketball’s KK Graves

This month, the Cookeville Lady Cavaliers reached the TSSAA 2022 Basketball state tournament. While their championship run came up short, the Lady Cavaliers’ season added to Cookeville High School’s history books.

In the regular season, the Lady Cavaliers finished with a perfect 26-0 record, resulting in the best record in program history. In the postseason, the Lady Cavaliers earned a region championship, finishing their season in the state semi-finals.

Now that the basketball season is fully wrapped, UCSN talked with one of the seniors from this year’s Lady Cavaliers’ basketball team. In this feature, KK Graves tells us about how she experienced the season, how she hopes this motivates future teams, how she hopes to move forward with basketball, and more.
