TSSAA Selects Sevierville, Chattanooga To Host 2021, 2022 Championships

The TSSAA Board of Control met on Thursday to vote for several items, and among them was the championship sites for golf and girls soccer for the 2021 and 2022 seasons.

Golf championships will take place in Sevierville at the Sevierville Golf Club, and the TSSAA cited the 36-hole facility as a major reason. This allows for all of the tournaments to take place in the same week, instead of them being spread out as they have been at Manchester.

Chattanooga will host the girls soccer championships, and it will be a collective effort from many area high schools that will host the earlier rounds.

Baylor School, Chattanooga Christian School, Girls’ Prepatory School and the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga will all be sites for the earlier rounds of competition, and the championship matches will be held at CHI Memorial Stadium.
