Triple Threat: Cookeville Track / Soccer’s Avery Brown

In the Triple Threat segment, UCSN talks to multisport athletes. The high school sports calander’s three seasons mean many athletes play up to three sports.

In this edition, we talk to Cookeville High School senior Avery Brown. Brown wears #29 for Lady Cavalier Soccer, and runs the 100m, 200m, 4×1, and 4×2 for Cavalier Track & Field. Avery tells us about how aspects of each sport show up in the other, how each one helps her play the other, and how she balances both sports.
