The Pioneers Fall In Heartbreaking Fashion To White County

The White County Warriors improved to 2-0 on the young season beating Warren County 22-21 in the waning seconds of the game. It’s the second week in a row the Pioneers have lost to a two point conversion in the final minute of the game. Highlights of the game can be seen here.

Elsewhere, first year head coach Taylor Hennigan got his first career victory beating the Livingston Academy Wildcats 27-7.

Juan Ortega and the Dekalb County Tigers knocked off the Smith County Owls 17-14. Ortega drilled a last second 31-yard field goal to walk it off for the Tigers and move them to 2-0 on the season.

Monterey and Clay County both got road shutout victories. The Wildcats downed Cumberland County 30-0 while the Bulldogs went to Kentucky and beat Clinton County 53-0.

Jackson County fell to York on the road 35-2. Stone Memorial improved to 2-0 with a win at East Ridge 35-6.

Finally, the Upperman Bees remain undefeated after downing Trousdale County 49-8.
