Summer Rewind: UCSN Featured: Monterey Football’s Mason Bowman Breaks One-Thousand Yard Mark
As the summer rolls on, UCSN takes a back at the 2021-22 school year and sport seasons. In this series, we find our most viewed video from each school this year, and reflect on the time of the school sports calendar from when the video was first posted.
Today, we rewind on the Monterey High School Wildcat football team. Specifically, star running back – Mason Bowman.
When this video was posted, then-junior Mason Bowman had gained over one-thousand yards only seven weeks into the 2021 football season. In a season where Bowman would go onto earn numerous awards and accolades, this video brings us right back to the middle of the season while Mason was racking up numbers.

Junior Running Back from Monterey High School, Mason Bowman, made headlines last week when he gained his 1000th yard of the season.
UCSN sat down with Bowman to talk about his milestone, what goes into accomplishing his goals, and the goals he has yet to reach.
