Livingston’s Riddle Is This Week’s TSSAA Title IX Trailblazer

Livingston Academy girls’ basketball head coach Lesley Riddle has been named this week’s TSSAA Title IX Trailblazer. Each week, the TSSAA selects a female who’s endured struggles to amass success in Tennessee high school athletics. 2022 is the 50th anniversary of Title IX.

Title IX by definition, “prohibits sex-based discrimination in any school or any other education program that receives funding from the federal government.” The 50th anniversary from Title IX becoming a law is Thursday, June 23.
