Strong Defense Propels Lady Buffaloes Over Monterey

The Lady Buffaloes of Clarkrange held Monterey to 16 first half points on their way to a 58 to 34 win on Friday night, in Fentress County.

Clarkrange’s Kaylie Monday led all scorers with 16 points. Her sister Kassie Monday added 10 points of her own.

Makenzie Raleigh hit three shots from deep on her way to a team high 11 points for Monterey. Lindsey Wright scored nine points as well.

With the win Clarkrange improves their overall record to 23-3, and 11-1 in district play. The Lady Bufflaoes will host Trousdale County this Tuesday.

The Lady Wildcats fall to 5-20, 0-11 on the season. Monterey welcomes Gordonsville to the mountain this Tuesday night.
