Seventeen Upper Cumberland Wrestlers Qualify For TSSAA State Championships
Seventeen wrestlers from Upper Cumberland high schools qualified for the 2022 TSSAA State Championships. The tournament gets underway on Thursday at the Williamson County Expo Center in Franklin, Tennessee. Five different schools will be sending wrestlers with Cookeville sending the most at six.

Alexis Page – Cumberland County, Fr. (4-6, placed 4th in Region 2)
Girls 138 pounds
Jaelyn Patton – Stone Memorial, Jr. (20-2, placed 1st in Region 2)
A-120 pounds
Ryan King – Stone Memorial, Sr. (36-4, placed 2nd in Sectional 2)
Ellis Haney – Upperman, Sr. (18-2, placed 2nd in Sectional 3)
A-132 pounds
Malachi Ray – Stone Memorial, Sr. (25-17, placed 4th in Sectional 2)
Ryan Leonard – Upperman, Sr. (13-11, placed 4th in Sectional 3)
