Saturday Night Boys Hoops Recap: Balanced Scoring Leads Pickett Over Whitwell

Pickett County 77, Whitwell 22

The Bobcats scored 32 points in the third quarter alone on Saturday to power them to a 77-22 win over Whitwell.

Zach Amonett scored a game-high 18 points, while Dylan Anderson scored 15 points. Hunter Wattenbarger added 12 points.

The Bobcats will be back on the court on Tuesday when they head to Gordonsville.

Livingston Academy 59, Smith County 56

The Wildcats earned their first district win of the season on Saturday when they defeated Smith County by a final score of 59-56.

Matthew Sells led the way in the win with 23 points, while Isaac Story and Dawson Simmons added 10 points each.

The Wildcats will head to Watertown on Monday for their next contest.
