Social Distancing is a phrase that will forever be a part of our vocabulary as we move forward. We are going to do a series of questions and answers with coaches across UC Sports Nation and how they cope with this unique time, not only in America but in the World.

Our next coach in the series is Cookeville Cavaliers boys basketball Josh Heard.

Question:

What does a typical day in quarantine look like for you right now?

Answer:

Workout in morning. Computer/phone work with students. Cook for family and games with family. Watch naked and afraid, Law and Order, House

Question:

What is one thing you’ll look forward to doing the most when the quarantine and social distancing ends?

Answer:

Getting back into the gym for practice and working with my AAU teams.

Question:

What’s on the menu there at the Heard household?

Answer:

I have always cooked and grilled. Changing up my BBQ sauce recipe.

Question:

What way are you and your family trying to exercise?

Answer:

We workout four days a week. Two and a half mile run each morning.

Question:

What’s a good TV or Netflix show you’ve watched recently?

Answer:

Lincoln Rhymes and the Bone Collector.

Question:

Are you getting up and getting dressed or lounging around in your PJ’s for most of the day?

Answer:

Sweats and a t-shirt mostly

Question:

What kind of music is playing on your iTunes right now?

Answer:

Hip hop and country music.

Question:

Have you been able to do anything memorable as a family during this time of quarantine?

Answer:

We have played games together, cornhole, cards, and ping pong.
