Monday Twins Lead Lady Buffaloes Over Pickett Co
The Clarkrange Lady Buffaloes beat Pickett County 59 to 49 in the District Six, Single A championship game Monday night in Livingston.
Kaylie and Kassie Monday led all both teams in scoring with 23 and 18 points respectively. Kaylie hit three, three’s and finished six out of eight from the free throw line. Kassie connected on 16 of her 18 free throw attempts for the Lady Buffaloes.
Clarkrange found a way to outscore Pickett County in each quarter but never by more than three points in any quarter.
The Lady Bobcats hit six shots from behind the three point line compared to Clarkrange who hit seven. Clarkrange also owned an advantage at the free throw line, where the Lady Buffaloes hit 24 of thier 27 attempts as Pickett County hit 13 of their 17 tries.
Clarkrange will host Richard Hardy Friday night in Fentress County and Pickett County will play host to South Pittsburg.
