Match Between Cavs Golf, LA Cancelled Due To Lightning

The Cookeville Cavaliers and Livingston Academy Wildcats were due to tee off at Hidden Valley Country Club at 1 P.M. on Thursday, but it was cancelled due to lightning in the area.

The weather turned bad around 12:45 P.M. and the match was in a lightning delay before it could begin. After about an hour-and-a-half, the match was called off due to lightning still striking within a 10-mile radius.

This would’ve been both teams’ first match since the Early Bird tournament on Monday.
