Lady Wildcat’s Defense Shuts Down Valor

Monterey’s girls basketball team allowed 13 total points against Valor Collegiate en route to a 63-13 victory in Coffee County.

11 Wildcats scored in Saturday’s matchup.

Lindsey Wright led all scores with 18 points. Wright hit four shots from beyond the arch. Faith Walker added 11 points and Ivy Padgett scored nine points.

Monterey hit seven three’s and hit 7-16 free throws.

The Lady Wildcats play again this Monday night at Bledsoe County at 6 P.M.
