Lady Panthers Hold On Against Farragut

The Stone Memorial Lady Panthers held off a furious come back attempt from Farragut with a 54 to 50 win Monday night in Crossville.

Stone Memorial took a 34 to 19 lead into halftime. At the start of the fourth quarter the Lady Panthers found themselves up 14.

Farragut outscored Stone Memorial 19 to 9 in the fourth but their efforts still came up short.

Annah Goss led Stone Memorial in scoring with 20 points. Goss buried six, three’s in the contest. Tessa Miller added 15 points and Emma Capps scored 12.

The Panthers improve to 15-1 on the season with a rematch against Science Hill this Saturday, who handed the Lady Panthers their only loss on the season.
