The Lady Cavaliers girls basketball team saw their season come to an end in the first round of the region tournament, on the road against Bradley Central 57 to 46, Friday night.
Cookeville trailed 26 to 25 after the first two quarters of play. The Lady Cavs offense struggled to put the ball in the basket as they scored only four, third quarter points. Bradley Central scored 14 points in the third quarter.
Cookeville’s offense woke up in the fourth quarter as the scored 17 points. However, Bradley Central scored 16 points to send the Lady Cavs home.
KK Graves scored a team high 16 points for Cookeville. Cassie Shope and Liv Shipman each scored seven points and Bailey Gillies and Katie Dunaway each dropped in six points.
The Lady Cavaliers finished the season 19-11, and 4-4 in district play.
