Lady Cavs Large Roster Bodes Well This Season

Head Coach Lauren Metts loves her team. In return, her team loves her.

It is a prime example of consistency and a desire to build a program.

As coach points out, she played at Cookeville, and had three coaches in her four years. That effects a team and a programs ability to succeed.

Now as she prepares to lead her newest group, there is an obvious uptick in participation. A large freshman class has entered the fold and should bolster an experienced and talented group.

Coach has options, at most every position, and she was so excited for it. She especially spoke highly of her two goalies, and how they really will be the catalyst for so much this season.

That being said, coach Metts is also big on camaraderie and building great young woman. So much so, that several years ago, a young lady got her a puppy, and now the aptly named Cavalier is the unofficial team mascot.
