Lady Buffaloes Advance Because Of Forfeit From Richard Hardy

Clarkrange’s girls basketball earned their easiest win of the season yesterday as Richard Hardy Memorial School chose to forfeit their game against the Lady Buffaloes, Friday night in the first round of the Region Tournament.

Per head coach Lamar Rogers Richard Hardy Memorial School said that they did not have enough players that they could count on to be available for Friday nights game.

“This is a first time for us,” Rogers said. “I don’t remember anyone doing this in a tournament. I can at least scout someone on Friday.”

Richardy Hardy Memorial School finished the regular season 1-27 and 0-6. They play in a district where there are only four teams, which means everyone qualifies for the region tournament.

Clarkrange will take on the winner of Van Buren County and Red Boiling Springs Monday night at Livingston Academy.
