Homar Finishes 3rd, Lady Cavs Take Druid Hills Match
The Cookeville Lady Cavs Golf Team finished in first place at Druid Hills on Thursday, as they shot just a single stroke better than Livingston Academy.
Hope Homar finished with the lowest score of the four Lady Cavs competing, as she shot an 83 as an individual.
In team play, Lexus Julian led the way with an 84, while Daniella Pryor shot an 86. Lucy Carwile shot a 93, but the score was not counted as the lowest score.
Overall, they shot a 170 and finished one stroke ahead of LA’s 171.
Cookeville’s next golf match will be on Monday at Coffee County.
