Football: Wildcats In AP Top 10 For First Time This Year
They Monterey Wildcats are ranked 10th the Associated Presses Top 10 Class 1A rankings. Week 7 marks the first time the Wildcats are ranked this year.
Monterey is one of six undefeated teams in the AP Top 10. They join South Pittsburg, Huntingdon, Lake County, Freedom Prep, and Fayetteville as unbeaten Top 10 teams.
The Wildcats improved to 6-0 with a 42-18 victory over Jackson County last Friday night.
