Eaglettes Pour It On After The First Against Bledsoe Co

Van Buren County’s girls basketball team trailed 12 to 10 after the first quarter of play Friday night in Spenser against Bledsoe County.

The Eaglettes would go on to score twenty points in both the second and third quarters to pull away by a final score of 67 to 44.

Emily Allen and Emma Scoggins each netted 15 points for Van Buren County. Chloe Hillis added nine points also.

The Eaglettes hit 10 of their free throw attempts and hit five shots from behind the arch.

With the win Van Buren County’s record improves to 13-6, 2-1. The Eaglettes will pay again Tuesday night at Gordonsville.
