Eaglettes Basketball Relies On Big Fourth Quarter For Win
The Van Buren County Eaglettes basketball team beat Gordonsville 52 to 43 behind an 18-point fourth quarter, Thursday night in Spencer.
The game was tied at halftime and Van Buren County owned a 34 to 33 lead at the start of the fourth.
Emily Allen led Van Buren County in scoring with 15 points. Allen knocked down three shotws behind the arch.
Emma Scoggins scored 11 for the Eaglettes. Scoggins hit five of six free throws and two, three’s on the night.
Van Buren County will play again next Tuesday night against Richard Hardy in South Pittsburg.
